Takagi Masakatsu "Private/Public" Takagi's First Live Album, recording the sound from the live concert at Laforet Harajuku

Takagi remixed the elegant and powerful sound he created with ten other musicians, including UA, Ren Takada, OLAibi, Jadranka, and others at the Laforet concert. Masakatsu Takagi is a musician/visual artist. As a leading artist representing the new generation, he keeps exploring new horizons. This album was recorded at the first concert he had in Tokyo in three years. It was a big challenge and a turning point for Takagi. He played piano and reproduced all his music in live performance. The musicians and the audience shared the moment of creating artwork at the concert. It was an expression of his art, using the whole space including the stage, visual effects, and audience. Takagi remixed the sound source, focusing on reproducing the atmosphere of the concert, including the space and people. This is a live album to experience Takagi’s music world; the perfect fusion of the elegant sound of strings, wild percussion rhythm, and free and uninhibited vocals. This album includes famous pieces from the past and tunes from the latest album, 'Air’s Note', and five new tunes that were played for the first time at the concert, 'girls' used in Kumon’s commercial, and 'Grace', used in the Epson commercial. The specially prepared booklet has photographs from the concert and Takagi’s visual art, and the music notes for 'girls', as was requested. Being the tenth music album of Takagi’s, this special album completes his works so far and looks forward to the future.
